Today, June 19th 2022, I have decided to change my life for the better.

Since I tried to do so many times without success, now it is the time to raise the stakes publishing my future failures and successes.

Am I happy?

Of course not, one day I will share my past sorrows and failures. Until then, the only information needed is that I am not happy in any area of my life.

What makes me happy?

It is very difficult to list what truly makes you happy. However I need to quantify my goals and so my future results.

  1. Being in the right place at work and at university

  2. Excel at my job

  3. Learning as much as possible

  4. Surrounding me with profound and special people (both friend/ colleagues/ etc...)

  5. Living in contact with nature

  6. Contributing significantly to minimize environmental damages (climate, floods, heat waves, biodiversity, etc...)

  7. Facing fears and other negative emotions -> being brave

  8. Not being a procrastinator

Why am I not already doing what makes me happy?

I do not know... Probably radicalized bad habits, arrogance, laziness, procrastination, superficiality.

What's my plan?

I am thinking about lots of solution. I have already tried many methods and I failed. So I have to think about what did fail because of the method and what because of my impatience.

  • Make it simple

  • Make it small

  • Make it attractive

  • Make it rewarding

  • Make it quantifiable

  • Make it precise

Using the principles above let's try to plan my future success.

  1. University: do as many exams as possible learning everything or the most important arguments. (3 exams in July and 2/3 in September -> get the best mark, at least 26). Monetize your knowledge, making new course at the university

  2. Learning in general: recalling, summarize and self-questioning (for now).

  3. Work: start in the best way. Do one data scientist course in October, one in January.

  4. People: know one new person per week (after exams), follow your heart to decide which person deserve more time or a deeper relationship (at maximum one per month)

  5. Every week -> make a post with a full revision of my goal and projects, what can I do better? More precision and more rewards

  6. Every day -> 3 most important things to do? Prioritize and how can I get the most from that activities?

  7. Every day -> revision with what can be improved and what was terrible or amazing.
